Very different from the first two. Liked it though.
I really like the way this author writes. I bought books 2 and 3 the second I was finished with the first. Very enjoyable and fun reads that didnt make me feel held hostage to remain interested.
I read and loved the scond book in this series. But I just waitedc to finish this one. To much monologs and slow pace. I skipped / flipped through some of the chapters. Sorry for the bad review, But I can not recommend this book with a clean conscience.
such a great series ...love these characters and enjoy how Nora does write them. i wonder what will be next? where will it go. this one was written a bit different and a bit different in style. just wait. u will love it too ... look forward to more from Nora soon enough. she is one of my favorites. I recall liking Nora Flite’s writing in the past, so decided to read one of her royal novels. I’m torn about how to rate this because it was essentially a good romance. I liked the hero and heroine, but the immediate and extended family manipulations grated on me. The language and annoying situations were sometimes offensive to me as well. Royals not acting with decorum can be hard for me to take. However, I’m glad I persisted and listened to the whole story, because several characters surprised me and delighted me despite their rough and hardened ways. You can’t always judge people from their outward appearances or first impressions. Sometimes they really have to be put to the ultimate test for their inner goodness to surface.
